Blue and Gold Dreams Come True

Home remodeling is like painting a blank canvas. It’s an art where personal taste and creativity converge. In a recent project that we embarked on, our mission was to blend two regal colors, blue and gold, into a home transformation. The challenge? To create a space that oozed elegance and style while staying true to the client’s favorite colors. What ensued was nothing short of magical.

The Client’s Crush on Blue and Gold

Our adventure began with our client’s unwavering love for the timeless combination of blue and gold. Blue, with its tranquil charm, and gold, with its opulent allure, were to be our muse. These two colors, each distinctly classy on their own, were about to come together in perfect harmony.

The Living Room Extravaganza

The heart of the home is often the living room, and this space was destined to become a masterpiece. The client is also a band manager with a huge collection of gold records he wanted to display.  By making a feature wall of his gold records, this created a focal point to this space. The addition of a large fireplace surrounded by stone was the icing on the cake. The living room became a showcase of class and style that would make anyone’s jaw drop.

Kitchen, Culinary Delight

In the kitchen, the client wanted to emphasize his love of blue and gold with royal blue cabinets and gold accents throughout.  Even the blue gas stove was so gorgeous and added that touch luxury that only the best cooks can appreciate.  Gold hardware, like cabinet handles and faucets, brought a touch of luxury to the kitchen. The backsplash with gold accents brought it all together.  The huge island counter quartz lights up.  Making this a space that any rockstar would want to hang in. 

The Royal Retreat: Master Bedroom

The master bedroom was next on our list, and it needed to be nothing short of a tranquil paradise.  An accent wall behind the bed was graced with an exquisite navy-blue custom wallpaper embellished with golden patterns, creating a mesmerizing focal point. This custom paper had gold writing making the grid which came from sayings from Notre Dame football, our client’s alma mater.  The room was now a sanctuary of serenity and class, echoing the client’s preferences beautifully.

This remodeling project was an ode to the magical synergy of color in interior design. The client’s beloved blue and gold became more than mere shades. They became the embodiment of the home’s character.
